Hair: Long, silky black hair that falls to about mid-back.

Piercings: He has pierced ears, but he rarely wears any earrings. It was done mostly for ceremonial purposes.
Character Personality:
Ketsueki has a very cold, stand-offish nature. After having lived for so long and seen so many things, he has found that he doesn't often care for most creatures; especially humanity. His opinions are to-the-point, and he spares no honesty when he gives them (making him to be either well liked or incredibly hated usually). Once he does make a friend though, he is loyal to them, and his personality warms up a bit.

Character History:
In life, Ketsueki was soon to be the ruler of a land, and knew no disappointment. He was granted anything he desired by the people who were beneath him, and raised delicately and sheltered. Rarely did he walk among commoners, and he tended to stay within the palace grounds. His upbringing was strict and disciplined, as he learned not only martial arts (including the use of a rapier), but also more delicate arts such as painting and music. This all was of course a very long time ago.
In an attack that took the land by surprise, the kingdom woke up to one day find no trace of Ketsueki anywhere. The greatest diviners could not determine what had happened to the young noble, and it was a mystery that was never solved in the land.
On that fateful night a coven of vampires had entered undetected into the home of the Suru family, and spirited away the young man. Every hundred years or so this particular coven sought out a few of the more beautiful humans to turn, and in doing so increase their numbers. Ketsueki happened to be one they had chosen. It was on this night that he lost his humanity, and gained a freedom he had secretly longed for and now sometimes regrets.
Still bound to the coven by the master who turned him, Ketsueki eventually wandered off, wishing to escape the confines of what had become a new prison for him. He had no desire to be shut into the same area for hundreds of years on end, and so with the promise to return once every fifty years for a brief time, he was allowed to travel.
Character Powers:
(Some things might not technically be considered powers, but I'm just listing out all abilities in general)
Shadow Walking: Exactly as it sounds, this gives Ketsueki the ability to merge with the shadows and move up to any distance in them provided the shadows are unbroken. They do not protect him however, should one be able to detect where he is within the shadows, nor can he defend himself once in them. He also cannot use them for any form of attack, except to attempt to confuse his opponent as to where he is. They also do not allow him to travel through solid objects.
Heightened Senses: Nothing terribly special, but as a vampire he gained heightened sensory abilities; allowing him to hear better, and detect specific scents better.
Night Vision: As a vampire he can see perfectly fine in the dark. Unfortunately, it does mean that if he is to view the world in daylight without some form of eye protection he runs the risk of loosing his eyesight permanently.
Superior Strength and Speed: He is able to move quickly and agilely; and has strength superior to that of a human. Nothing like lightspeed or superman, just generally quicker and stronger. This is mostly useful for preying upon creatures and self-preservation. The more starved for fresh blood he is though, the weaker he becomes.
Accelerated Healing: A self-preservation thing, against normal attacks (ie: not using blessed objects, holy water, ect) he will heal almost instantly. Attacks that use natural weaknesses to vampires however hinder this process, and depending on the severity, may stop it all together.
Circulatory Control: He has the ability to control the flow of his dead blood. This will help him to not bleed to the point that he's so weak he will probably die, and to stop the flow of poison in his body. It does nothing to help him attack though, and is completely a defensive mechanism. It also would do no good if he were to loose his head or be staked.
Mind Reading: He has the ability to read the mind of anyone whom he has personally turned into a vampire, and only them. His master also has this power over him.
(This is only being stated so should somewhere down the line he turn someone, it is noted that he will have this ability.)
Claws and Fangs: Long fingernails and long canines aren't just for show, they're weapons he has that he can use. The canines more for feeding, but the claws are a last-ditch method for fighting. They're difficult to break and dull, however they are only about the length of a typical human female's nails so they also do not do a lot of damage unless the same area is clawed repeatedly or is particularly vulnerable.
Other:
Ketsueki still has the ability to consume and taste mortal foods, though they do nothing to satiate hunger nor provide the nutrients he needs to survive. He also can touch un-blessed holy symbols, and garlic is not a particular problem for him (though because of the heightened senses it REALLY STINKS and that's what he can't stand. If you've ever taken a good sniff of garlic, you know what I mean @_@;; )
