Shifted Appearance: As a wolf she is a cool gray base color, with a black and light gray over lay. Lithe, but tall build, and oh so different when in the form of a raven. In that; she is sleek black; tall and bulky like most magnificent ravens are.

Height: maybe a foot or foot and a half in raven/ in wolf almost 6ft

Character Personality:Charitable, and kind, she is not without her wiles. Some see her as cocky, but really; she just knows how to survive. In a pinch, she is quick-thinking, and usually makes the wisest of her given choices. Expect the least of her, but usually you will get a fair amount of satisfaction; if not total. To see her, you may think she is one of those "average" girls, and she is often mistaken for a human aside from her "arboreal" attributes. Many find themselves envying her, while others lust after her. It's not often she is hated, though. She is sly, yet wise, like a wolf, and cunning as a raven with the thirst of her vampiric ancestors. You'd be surprised to find she was a daddy's-girl before she left home to give the impression of being dead. Of course she had her reasons, though.

Likes: Valerie like people, running, shifting into her wolf form, hunting, spying, drawing, and flying.
Dislikes: She dislikes, however, dishonesty, people who chase her around, people who lust after her, and people who can't be their "own" person.
Strengths: Figuring out problems, and observing.
Weaknesses: Confronting her own problems, and dealing with them.
Habits: drawing, and going silent and into a "mode" where she just sits and observes.

Character History: Valerie Cyndil Martin-Kay was born into her strange world. She was not, however, born in these particular lands. Her father was a shifter that could transform into a wolf, and her mother was a vampire of high grace that was granted the gift of shifting into a raven by her grandfather. For some reason, her family believed that they could make a better hybrid by choosing only specific shifters as their mates, and here and there another vampire so as to not weaken that part of their genetics. Valerie's grandmother(the only pure vampire) married the "raven" to grant her child(ren) with the gift of flight, keen eye, and grace that the raven could provide. Her mother, however, chose a "wolf" for it's cunning, wisdom, and skill in hunt. She felt she could gift her child(ren) with this as well as keep the traits of her vampiric side alive by the odd combination. Thus; Valerie.
Valerie, on the other hand, has her own thoughts to the matter. She thinks folly of the ways chosen by her lineage, but respects them , and what she it, all the same. Instead of breeding for traits, or choosing "the best man" she would rather go the route of "instinct." It is, of course, what she was bred for.

She chooses to wait until she finds "that guy." The kind of man that will provide good instinct, and mannerism, rather than genetics, and minds/bodies of animals. She figures she is destined for nothing but another vampire. One of pure descent so she can "strengthen" that side of her.

When she decided to leave her parents house hold, though, she was only a few decades old...Much younger than her older siblings (Who would likely go about the wrong ways of how their parents and grandparents went.) chose. They lived in a sheltered mountain region, much like that of Academy Castle, but all the way across the map, instead.

She found AC by the well-known internet, and upon finding what was (t)here, she immediately fell in love with the terrain. It was so much more civilized than where she had come from. She's been there for years, though, and she started to doubt finding that one person she wanted so desperately so long ago..Problem may be, perhaps, she has lost interest in finding him.

With lost hopes at the Academy Castle, she then moved to it's "sister" in a different region. This girl has a lot of travel under her belt.
