Lists are cool and all, but I'm a ridiculous amount of bored so I'm going to write a book instead. 
My real name is Samantha, and I'm most commonly found on the interwebs under the pseudonym of Saknika. So you may or may not have seen me tooling around on places like DeviantART, Twitter, and then likes.
I am currently a 22-year-old female living in the great state of New York; though no where near the city (thank goodness!) I'm a trained professional photographer, and I tend to dabble in other artsy-craftsy sort of things. Unfortunately, I cannot really draw well, which is one thing I hope to remedy someday.
In my free time I am a belly dancer (for real, see me on YouTube), a martial artist, and addicted to anime/Japan/Japanese Culture/Japanese History/ Japanese EVERYTHING. I also love to DnD so you're looking at a total nerd here. xD
I've been roleplaying off and on (sometimes the muse just isn't there. Usually when stressed out) for about 9 years now! Wow that makes me feel old. =_=;; I started out like most, with the astericts and cute little one-liners on sites full of mary-sues because hey, we were just kids looking to have a good time and we didn't care nor know any better.
It did not take me long to advance onto full paragraphs and actual plots, thankfully.
Now I mostly have 1-on-1 RPs with friends, though life has caused us to drift apart a bit and so I came looking for something new, and well, here I am!
I think I'll stop this here, keep it at more of a short story than a novel to spare the headaches. Questions are welcome, chatter is welcome, I'm a friendly, easy-going kind of person.
