Welcome To Day and Night Academy!
Before we get started there are a few rules we have to go over, they are short, simple, and too the point.Have fun Roleplaying here and thanks for Joining!

General Rules:

• We don’t mind if you create multiple characters, but we’d be very happy if you made a new account for each new character. And if you’re not going to use a character anymore, please delete it.
  
  
• There’s a Zero Tolerance police when it comes to sexual, racist, sexist, or just derogatory calling of other members around the site. One warning will be issued. If you do it again, you will be banned.
  
  
• This is not an advanced role playing site, but we’d still like to see you use proper grammar, spelling and of course, punctuations. Run on sentences is one of the hardest things to read. If you have trouble with your writing, there’s a special board where you can ask for help, advice, and input. No need to be ashamed
  
  
• if you have a complaint or suggestion, don’t be afraid to pm any of the staff. we don’t bite hard!
  
  
• Most of all have fun!
  
  

Role play Rules:

• No crossing in and out of character! This means that on the role play boards, you’re your character, and your character only, while on the IC boards you are yourself and not your character. So if you hate someone In Character, you can still be friends on the other boards. Also, just because you know something about someone’s character, doesn’t mean your character knows it until they’re told.
  
  
• No God Modding or Powerplaying! I’ll keep this simple.
  Power playing; Ayesha grabbed the knife, and before Kimberly could react, she stabbed her repeatedly in the gut.
  
  How that should be written; Ayesha grabbed the knife, and in a quick motion tried to stab Kimberly, aiming for her gut with every thrust.
  
  In other words, give the other person a chance to react. That doesn’t mean however that you writers can’t decide the outcome before posting.
  
  God Modding; Damian was the strongest ever.No one could match his lightning fast moves, and with the flick of a finger he could crush whole buildings, or kill someone if he so wanted. Also, he had laser beam eyes.
  
  That doesn’t sound very fun to play against, does it? A character so strong you have no chance to really do anything against it. All characters need weaknesses, no exception. Just like superman has kryptonite
  
  
• Yes, characters are allowed to swear, and do anything else they well please with others, but before attacking please have consent from the other player as well.
  
  
• If your character goes into a sexual relationship, it’s alright with us. Just remember, keep it PG-13! It’s not just our rules, but Proboards as well. There will be an 18+ board made, but even there, try to keep it a bit low at least. If it gets too graphic, your thread will be removed. And if you’re under 18 and change your age just to check it out, we will find out, and you will be banned. THIS BOARD IS NOT CREATED FOR SEX SCENES! IT’S FOR VIOLENCE ONLY!
  
  
• Oh, and if you decide to have your character get pregnant (some male species can as well), no ceepy graphic birthing scenes. Keep that, just as the sex scenes, off board, either in PM or on whatever messenger you use.
  
  

Characters:

• You have as many different race characters as you would like! (Age does not matter)
  
  
• [humans] You know what humans look like, but if you would like to modify them with tattoos, piercings and/or scars to make them different then don't hold back! We like having interesting characters so that other players can stalk them! But no wings or tails or stuff like that!
  
  
• [vampires] You may turn into a single chosen animal, unless he/she is of mixed breed and has mastered both of their forms. Please check in with the admin to be accepted.
  
  
• [vampires] Feed on wild animals and humans, but unless players agree to this then it cannot be role played without their permissions first.(unless you don't really care what happens to your characters). Feeding on another character may result in your vampire getting staked or garlic-drenched.
  
  
  
• [shape shifters] All the same rules apply to them as they would in human form, meaning that yes they can still become injured, and/or killed (if given consent by the other roleplayer). In other words, just because you’ve shifted, doesn’t mean you’re invincible. Injuries sustained while shifted transfers to your human form as well.
  
  

Breeding/Birthing :

• Any mixed breed inside Day and Night is accepted, but please people use your brain when it comes to mixing bloods. human x walruses, or human x unicorn will not be accepted. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. (There will be a moderator who will deal with the birthing section, but all will be approved by the main head admin.)
  
  
• Birthing of any species is not to be role played out unless kept under pg-13.Anything above that well, if you have read the previous rule you will know what will happen.
  
  
• birthing for humans and shifters in their human form is four seasons after conceiving. For vampires, weres, equines and shifters in their animal form, birthing seasons are spring and fall.
  
  
  

Fighting:

• Fights can take place anywhere on this site.Weather over mates, or females. Only one attack and blocking per post. The Academy staff will be the judges of this, and if you would like on like a re-match then please message us, we also enjoying watching a fight.(The thread will be stickied after the admin has agreed.)
  
  
• Fights between others, not over females will be judged accordingly, sometimes all one needs is a good scrap, but please have both of the role players agreement,before starting.
  
  
• If the competitor and or challenger are evenly matched, then then shifting will be allowed.If they are not evenly matched then it will be prohibited to make it fair.(If this rule is ignored, then you will receive a warning)
  
  
• If you would like to make a land challenge then please message the staff in charge of viewing battles and or fights. Walking into any claimed territory and trying to claim it without a fight is not acceptable, only unless the other agrees to freely give up the land without a fight or has been inactive for a few months.Otherwise leave them a message and wait until they reply or contact staff about this.
